bKash

Unseen Bangladesh

BACKGROUND

Bangladesh is full of stories but not all of them are seen. Beyond the cities and the usual routes, there are hidden destinations, untold cultures, and local entrepreneurs quietly shaping everyday life. And while content has made the world smaller, these stories still remain out of frame.

OBJECTIVE

The objective was to inspire exploration of Bangladesh’s unseen beauty, while naturally integrating bKash as the enabler of seamless everyday transactions across travel experiences. Not as a message. But as behavior.

Idea

With Unseen Bangladesh, bKash set out to change that. A purpose-driven digital storytelling initiative designed to uncover the country’s hidden gems, and bring them into the spotlight through the eyes of popular travel creators. Because the idea was simple, if people won’t find these places, we’ll bring the stories to them.

EXECUTION

We partnered with 16 travel content creators across Bangladesh. Each of them journeyed to undiscovered locations, from remote landscapes to local cultural hubs capturing authentic, immersive stories along the way. And within these narratives, bKash wasn’t pushed. It was lived. Payments for hotel stays, bus fares, and local experiences were seamlessly made via bKash , often captured subtly within the storytelling. Even contextual banner integrations in videos reinforced real-world usage, without disrupting authenticity. What followed was organic engagement – viewers weren’t just watching destinations, they were discovering them. And they weren’t just consuming content – they were inspired to travel, explore, and experience Bangladesh differently.

RESULT

The campaign reached over 39 million views and Over 3M Engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Top influencer performances included:
  • Jannat The Lunatic – 18M views
  • Jannatul Bismee– 7.31M views
  • Petuk Couple – 3.70M views
  • Salahuddin Sumon – 2.7M views
  • Rafi The Little Traveller – 2.24M views
But beyond numbers, the real impact was cultural, Bangladesh’s hidden stories were no longer unseen. We didn’t just create content. We turned exploration into a movement – powered quietly by bKash.
